With the increasing emphasis on the issues of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, China's livestock and poultry farming, especially large-scale farms, has been rapidly developed. The development of animal husbandry has increased farmers' income, agricultural efficiency, and enriched residents' vegetable baskets. The odor generated by livestock and poultry excrement and the fecal water discharged from breeding farms have also brought serious environmental pollution to rural areas. Eliminating these pollutants is currently an urgent problem to be solved. The use of deodorants is a relatively simple way to eliminate foul odors, but traditional deodorants have limited deodorizing effects, poor durability, and relatively high prices.
Based on the principle that natural plants have the function of purifying the environment, after analyzing the composition of foul odor gases in breeding farms, we are looking for plant varieties that can eliminate these odor molecules. Discussed the extraction methods and process conditions of functional components such as volatile oil from several main plants with deodorization ability.
The extraction process of volatile oils from plant resources such as ginger, camphor, mint, and perilla was studied through methods such as ultrasound, solution extraction, and steam distillation.
Using single factor experiments and orthogonal techniques, optimize the extraction process conditions for functional components such as plant volatile oil mentioned above.
In addition, gas phase and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry were used to determine the components of volatile oil extracted under optimal process conditions. Three deodorants A B、C。 After further comparative experiments, the optimal formula for the new deodorant was selected. After on-site experiments and analysis of the main odor components, the results showed that the newly developed deodorizer for farm waste has a good deodorization effect, which can effectively eliminate the odor gas in the farm and solve the problem of odor pollution in the breeding industry. The product has low production costs, good performance, and a promising future for use.
