Zhao Xianghua, the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, presented the "2023 Report of the Guangdong Performance Industry Association's Supervisory Board" to the conference. The report pointed out that in 2023, the Supervisory Board of the Association strictly followed the responsibilities assigned by the Association's Articles of Association, actively participated in major decisions of the Association, fulfilled various work functions, and continued to play a supervisory role with the support of the 5th Council and Secretariat. It is worth mentioning that the Performing Arts New Space Professional Committee was officially established at this conference, which is the ninth professional committee established by the association. Under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Yan'an Card has become the life card for strengthening the safety of performance activities in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and has become a national initiative. Last year, the association authorized 12 performance card training bases throughout the province for the third session of the fifth general assembly. This year, after application and investigation, the association has awarded the second batch of performance card training bases, totaling 4, namely: Huizhou Performance Industry Association, Jiangmen Performance Industry Association, Shenzhen Cultural Market Industry Association Performance Branch, and Macau Galaxy Entertainment Group. We hope that the awarding units can fully play a leading role in demonstration, improve training facilities, enhance training quality, and actively promote the smooth implementation of the "performance card" work throughout the province.

Since the official launch of the "Yan'an Card" training in October last year, the association has held a total of 9 sessions and trained about 1500 people. The commander of the first brigade of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau's Public Security Management Detachment, Shi Yanshou, delivered a speech titled "Safety Management and Precautions for Large scale Commercial Performances". He pointed out that in September last year, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Public Security jointly issued a notice on further strengthening the standardized management of large-scale commercial performance activities and promoting the healthy and orderly development of the performance market. The notice clarified the implementation of real name ticket purchase and real name entry systems for large-scale performance activities. Guangzhou Public Security promoted convenient measures such as "one window for all" and cooperated with relevant departments for law enforcement and governance, creating a good business environment for the Guangzhou performance market through multiple measures. In 2023, Guangzhou jumped to the "first city of concerts", and the safety of performances was basically stable. In addition, Shi Dui affirmed the various works of the association, especially the timely establishment of the Professional Committee for the Performing Arts New Space. He hoped that the association could play a role as a bridge and link, actively cooperate with government departments to formulate relevant policies and provide suggestions, such as the operating standards and recognition processes of the performing arts new space in our province, so that it can become an important force to release new consumer vitality and promote the deep integration of culture and tourism development. Since its establishment, with the strong guidance and support of the China Performance Industry Association and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the joint efforts of all members, it has focused on the four major functional positioning of "service, representation, coordination, and self-discipline", forged ahead with courage and determination, and has made a lot of effective work in promoting industry development, reflecting member demands, building a bridge between the government and enterprises, guiding industry self-discipline, and providing targeted support and cooperation.
